It’s those kind of things that make you say “ahhh.” Those are the things you should do more of every day. You know like taking a nice long hot bubble bath and then jumping in a big fluffy bed full of pillows. Those kind of things that soothe your mind and body. You deserve it! It’s so good for your soul. It’s a very loving thing to do for yourself. And everyone is different as far as what brings you comfort. Make a list of all those things that come to your mind. A list of things that make your muscles instantly relax just thinking about them. Make a point to do one of them every day. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant. Make time for that, it’s important for your well being.
Here’s my list:
A jetted bubble bath with lavender & rosemary aromatherapy oils
Relaxing in bed with a plethora of soft fluffy pillows all around me
Sitting in a sauna
Sitting in an oversized bean bag outside on a crisp Fall night, looking at the stars
Going to the Coffee Shop
Finding a “feel good” movie to watch at home in my favorite comfy chair
Taking a leisurely drive in the country
Those are just what popped in my head first. There could be a lot more if I sat and thought about it longer. You get the gist of what I’m saying though. Make your list. Take time for yourself every day. Take care of yourself. You’re worth it!
In the Positive Zone
