Well, it’s not really a secret. You ever have those times when you think about something you’ve always thought about doing but when you think about the steps involved, you give up? The longer you sit and think about it, the more you talk yourself out of it. You create this scenario in your mind of how difficult it seems. You think about how long it would take. And then you’re dryer buzzer goes off and the whole idea disappears, until next time.
If you think about it, what else are you going to do anyway? Why not take some energy in making some steps in that direction? The amount of time we spend thinking about it, we could be taking action steps toward that dream in making it come true. And obviously it means something to us or else we wouldn’t even have the thought in the first place.
Don’t blow it off just because you think it sounds impossible. It’s only impossible if you say it and believe it is. Change your thinking and beliefs around. Challenge yourself by saying “what IF I could do this, how would I feel afterwards?” By doing that, you’re forcing yourself to think about possibilities instead of defeat. Every time you conjure up that negative scenario in your mind, STOP and replace it with ONE positive action step in that direction that you wish to go. Even if that one step is simply writing something down, an idea or possibility. Maybe that one step is doing some research online. As long as you make a step, you’re already on your way to making it happen.
